About The Position

The Valve Distribution Lead supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. The role helps coordinate workflow, train and assist warehouse associates, ensure shipment accuracy, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. The position is based at RK Hobbs in Hobbs, New Mexico, within the Operations department, and reports to the Valve Distribution Manager.

The role involves coordinating warehouse activities, verifying shipment details, supporting inventory management and order fulfillment, training associates, and reporting operational concerns. The position also requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving materials as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to use material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move materials as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of warehouse experience.
• General knowledge of valves and related materials.
• Previous leadership or training experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities and assist associates with assigned tasks.
• Verify quantities, descriptions, and documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist with inventory accuracy, organization, and identification of valves and related materials.
• Support order picking, staging, loading, and internal transfers.
• Train associates on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and system use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and operational concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
