About The Position

STS Aerospace in Laconia, New Hampshire is seeking a Value Stream (Production) Analyst to help plan and execute efficient production flow for the company’s goods, data, and information. The analyst uses Excel and analytical skills to design scheduling and staffing models that optimize labor, production volume, capacity, and efficiency. The role requires consistent and predictable attendance and may include other duties as needed.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes to process, manipulate, and analyze data effectively.
High proficiency in Excel, including organizing, validating, and analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
Ability to provide thoughtful and creative context for reviewed data and translate information into clear, actionable insights.
Experience guiding others through data to explain key drivers, implications, and recommended actions.

Responsibilities

Create capacity-feasible production schedules that promote smooth and efficient operations.
Work with functional departments to develop plans for efficient resource use and maximum revenue.
Forecast long-term capacity needs.
Propose staffing requirements based on customer needs, upcoming work, and historical data.
Highlight operational issues and proactively recommend activities to minimize their impact on production.
Evaluate customer and operational strategies and recommend improvements.
Gather, develop, analyze, and communicate data and conclusions, including operational dashboards, reports, inventory, and capacity information.
Provide concise information for daily stand-up deliverables.
Gather information for management and customer meetings.
Demonstrate effective communication, leadership, and partnership with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
Develop operational knowledge and leadership capabilities by participating in professional development opportunities.
