About The Position

Workday’s Value Management team partners directly with our most strategic customers and sellers to help organizations realize the full potential of the Workday platform. Our role is to help these organizations tell their strategic story, shape their vision for transformation, and build the case for why Workday is critical to their future. We serve as trusted advisors who connect customer priorities to measurable business outcomes. Through executive discovery, industry insight, and value-based storytelling, the team helps customers build transformation strategies across finance, HR, and emerging AI-driven capabilities—while enabling sellers to clearly articulate the strategic and economic impact of Workday. We are a collaborative, curious, and high-performing team focused on impact, innovation, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, finance, FP&A, business services, strategy, value engineering, or enterprise software sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong consulting toolkit—including discovery, quantitative modeling, storytelling, collaboration, and executive communication.
  • Enthusiastic about using data, AI and Agentic technologies to solve real-world problems and support large-scale organizational change.
  • Knowledge of software deal cycles and the ability to align value narratives to buying behaviors.
  • Comfortable with travel (~20%), primarily day trips to customer sites.

Nice To Haves

  • advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Finance, Economics) preferred.
  • Domain expertise in finance, human capital, enterprise planning, or AI preferred.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives (e.g., finance modernization, AI integration, M&A enablement) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic discovery and engagement with key stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT, Risk, etc.) across various sectors, helping executive stakeholders define transformation priorities and quantify the business outcomes enabled by Workday’s platform.
  • Articulate the differentiated value of Workday’s unified architecture across HR, Finance, and Planning, while introducing customers to emerging capabilities including AI-driven insights, automation, and agentic workflows that help organizations operate more intelligently and efficiently.
  • Develop compelling, executive-ready business cases and value narratives that connect Workday’s capabilities—including agentic solutions and intelligent automation—to measurable outcomes such as productivity gains, return on investment, cost optimization, faster decision-making, and improved employee and customer experiences.
  • Deliver clear, engaging presentations to C-suite, board-level, and transformation leadership teams, helping them understand how Workday can support their long-term strategic vision.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted consultant and business advisor to both internal sales teams and current/prospective customers.
