About The Position

Value Engineering at Relay serves as the crucial link between the realities of frontline operations and the strategic financial decisions made by enterprises. Value Engineers immerse themselves in a prospect's operational environment to construct a compelling financial justification demonstrating Relay's Return on Investment (ROI) to C-suite executives. This role is characterized by its analytical nature, customer-facing interactions, and significant impact. This internship provides a comprehensive experience within this domain. The Value Engineering Internship is structured in two phases. It begins with a part-time engagement during the Spring semester (starting in January), with the potential for top-performing interns to transition into a full-time, 40-hour/week Summer internship. Both phases require an on-site presence at Relay's state-of-the-art Raleigh HQ, conveniently located near the Lenovo Center. Exceptional performance during the internship can lead to a return offer for a Summer or Fall 2027 internship, as well as consideration for full-time employment upon graduation, contingent upon business needs. Interns will collaborate directly with the Manager of Value Engineering and the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and senior leadership, on active enterprise deals.
