Responsibilities

Scraping, sweeping, and mopping the floors of food, beverage, and meat processing plants.
Ensuring floors meet the quality control and bacterial standards set by the customer and relevant governmental agencies.
Attending safety meetings at the beginning of the shift.
Putting on safety gear prior to beginning duties.
Contacting supervisor to inspect safety gear.
Obtaining assignments from supervisor of what area to clean.
Retrieving cleaning supplies and cart from storage room.
Squeegeeing up meat scraps and scooping them into barrels.
Weighing barrels and dumping them into the inedible vat or auger.
Mixing cleaning solution into bucket/hosing equipment.
Mopping office and Welfare Areas floors.
Connecting hoses to water source and turning on water.
Spraying equipment, floors, and pen areas of debris.
Scrubbing equipment to remove debris with a green pad and cleaning solution.
Spraying equipment for a final rinse.
Ensuring area, including the ceiling, is dry prior to production.
Inspecting area to ensure it is clean.
Performing other job duties as assigned.
