About The Position

The Valuation Analyst II is responsible for conducting more complex commercial real estate appraisal report reviews and performing independent valuations. This role requires experience in real estate analysis and the ability to assess risk in property valuations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal, commercial real estate valuation review, or financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze real estate appraisals for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform independent property valuations using market data, financial models, and industry methodologies.
  • Identify potential risks and inconsistencies in appraisal reports, providing recommendations for adjustments.
  • Collaborate with appraisers, lenders, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct market research to support valuation conclusions and risk assessments.
  • Assist in training junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
