About The Position

Jabil Design Services is seeking a Validation Engineer Intern to assist with setting up and screening customer server configurations. The intern will gain an understanding of industry use cases while helping improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the JDS validation process. The role provides hands-on experience with server hardware, firmware, operating systems, and infrastructure management, including switches and storage.

As part of Jabil’s Summer 2027 Internship Program, interns can engage with Jabil leadership and take part in professional development, networking, social, and community engagement events. They may also work on committees with other interns, receive a mentor, and tour Jabil facilities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a major in IT, Computer Engineering/CET, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Be a rising junior, rising senior, or recent graduate.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of hardware components.
• Familiarity with UEFI and BMC.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows.
• Basic networking skills.
• Scripting experience, such as Python or Bash.
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive work.
• Leadership skills including agility, building trusting relationships, decision making, and resilience.
