About The Position

The Automotive Service Valet is responsible for assisting the service department by performing various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. This role involves greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer areas. The Valet plays a key role in the initial and final impression a guest has of the service department, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to drive a variety of vehicles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a valet or in a customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with automotive service processes.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with their needs.
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive, customer waiting areas, and shuttle vehicles.
  • Assist with basic tasks in the service department as needed, such as organizing parts or cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and parked in designated areas.
  • Provide a positive and professional image for the dealership.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
