About The Position

The Valet Runner provides courteous internal and external guest service in accordance with the “Red Carpet Service” program guidelines. The role involves parking and retrieving guests’ vehicles, accurately documenting vehicle details on valet tickets, securing parked vehicles, and maintaining the Porte Cochere and Valet Office. The Valet Runner also attends departmental and company meetings as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience related to the nature of the position.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English.
• Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with Hollywood Casino Aurora Core Values; departmental, property, and company policies and standards; Illinois Gaming Board requirements; Sarbanes-Oxley; and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate outstanding internal and external service in accordance with “Red Carpet Service” program guidelines.
• Operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions when parking and retrieving guests’ vehicles.
• Complete valet tickets accurately, noting the parked vehicle’s location, visible contents, prior damage, and obvious malfunctions.
• Secure parked vehicles properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Porte Cochere and Valet Office.
• Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
