About The Position

The Valet Runner provides internal and external guest service in accordance with the “Red Carpet Service” program. The role involves operating both manual- and automatic-transmission vehicles to park and retrieve guests’ vehicles, accurately completing valet tickets, securing parked vehicles, and maintaining the Porte Cochere and Valet Office. The employee attends departmental and company meetings as required and performs duties in accordance with company values, policies, standards, and applicable regulatory and internal-control requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience related to the nature of the position.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English.
• Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with Hollywood Casino Aurora Core Values; departmental, property, and company policies and standards; Illinois Gaming Board requirements; Sarbanes-Oxley; and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding internal and external service in accordance with “Red Carpet Service” program guidelines.
• Operate manual- and automatic-transmission vehicles to park and retrieve guests’ vehicles.
• Complete valet tickets accurately, noting the vehicle’s parking location, visible contents, prior damage, and obvious malfunctions.
• Secure parked vehicles properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Porte Cochere and Valet Office.
• Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
