About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Valet / Porters for opportunities to start immediately. The role involves greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles safely and efficiently, explaining parking rates, and inspecting vehicles. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a clean and presentable facility, including sweeping, cleaning surfaces, emptying trash, and performing janitorial tasks. The Valet / Porter is also responsible for the safety and security of company equipment, reporting any policy violations or hazards, and assisting with the pick-up and delivery of various supplies and equipment. Snow removal may also be required. The company emphasizes a positive and helpful attitude, a professional appearance, and the ability to resolve customer issues effectively. This role requires being active, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items up to 50lbs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Responsibilities

  • Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
  • Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
  • Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
  • Maintain company uniform appearance, cheerfully greeting and thanking guests, resolving issues, and being a pleasure to be with.
  • Be outside and active most of the day, standing, walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Perform all cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility.
  • Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms, as directed.
  • Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth, and the office.
  • Responsible for safety and security of company equipment.
  • Report any known, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazard, or any unusual occurrence(s) to the regional and/or account managers in a timely manner.
  • Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc., as applicable per location.
  • Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed.
  • Operate necessary equipment for cleaning and maintaining the facility.
  • Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager if and when needed.
  • Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects as asked by local management.
