Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support location management with financial, operational, safety, and service-related success.
  • Ensure LAZ internal stand-up meetings (Pre-Shifts or “Huddles”) are held each shift.
  • Ensure staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Embrace, resolve, and see through to resolution any customer service or client concerns.
  • Communicate any challenges to Location Management to address.
  • Ensure new employees are fully trained in completing end-of-shift reports.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Reconcile keys at the end of the shift with the current inventory.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patrons during the shift to receive and distribute tickets, keys, and cash.
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner, ideally by name, and be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution during the shift.
  • Park and return customer vehicles upon request and as necessary in a timely manner.
  • Sign/initial as the “valet” on shift cash-out sheets and provide shift cash-out sheets to the company manager responsible for the shift, answering any questions thereon.
  • Assist with the management and development of the team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives.
  • Identify high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
  • Ensure all safety initiatives from the National Safety & Training Manager, Hospitality are rolled out to new and existing employees.
  • Report any and all safety concerns to the Location Manager/Assistant Managers for review and suggestions on how to improve safety at your operation.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train staff on day-to-day activities in the absence of management.
  • Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
  • Drive service results and establish goals by monitoring and responding to results from LAZ Service Shopper Reports and airport internal service metrics.
  • Cultivate client relationships and business retention.
  • Responsible for claims and safety-related training and prevention initiatives.
  • Responsible for overall financial success during their shift.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
