About The Position

Joe’s Auto Parks is a privately-owned parking operations and management company with over 90 locations in downtown Los Angeles. Joe’s Auto Parks provides both self and valet parking services at many of its surface lots and garages. In addition to affordable monthly parking options throughout the downtown area, Joe’s Auto Parks will soon offer a real-time parking reservations system to guarantee pricing and available space. We are looking for an energetic, friendly valet to park cars for our establishment. The valet's responsibilities include greeting guests, helping to unload luggage, parking cars carefully and returning vehicles quickly when guests are ready to leave. To be successful as a valet you must have the stamina to stand for extended periods of time while remaining vibrant and friendly. Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver's license.
• No prior traffic offenses.
• Neat appearance and upkeep of uniform.
• Great interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
• Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or heavier.
• Valet attendants work in a very physically demanding environment. Large amounts of getting in/out of vehicles, walking, standing and lifting are a normal part of the job. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or heavier.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests of the establishment.
• Assist with unloading guests' luggage.
• Handle customer vehicles with the highest level of attention.
• Drive and park cars safely.
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic.
• Retrieve cars for guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure that parked cars are locked and that keys are stored safely or returned to the owner.
• Possess positive customer service skills.
• Ability to work during high business periods; flexible schedule.
• Have first rate etiquette and professionalism qualities.
