About The Position

This position directly supervises and coordinates the activities of transportation and facility employees. The role involves ensuring employees adhere to their schedules and duties, maintaining facility standards, enforcing safety regulations, and resolving employee issues. The Valet Manager in Training/ Supervisor will also assist in other capacities as needed, audit the work of Guest Ambassadors and Drivers, manage inventory of guest amenities, and find coverage for shifts. A key aspect of the role is recommending and implementing improvements to enhance team motivation, equipment performance, work methods, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Some supervisory experience required
  • A valid state drivers license with a current address and acceptable driving record required
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Desire and drive to be proactive and take ownership of the team and processes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Honest and ethical
  • Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences

Responsibilities

  • Ensure employees clock in and perform their duties as required for their shift.
  • Monitor facility maintenance to ensure it is clean and maintained according to company standards.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations.
  • Report vehicle accidents or employee injuries as set forth by company policy.
  • Resolve worker problems or collaborate with employees to assist in problem resolution.
  • Assist in other capacities and departments as needed.
  • Audit daily work of Guest Ambassadors and Drivers.
  • Keep bottled water for guests stocked throughout shift.
  • Respond accordingly if a shift needs to be filled, find coverage.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve worker motivation, equipment performance, work methods, or customer services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
