Valet Captain
About The Position
The Car Park is a rapidly growing parking and transportation company that operates more than 400 locations within our portfolio across the United States. We have the superior ability to leverage the power of cutting-edge technology, supply legendary customer service, and provide best-in-class practices to our clients continuously. We are experts at meeting the unique needs of the markets we serve including hospitality, healthcare, events, municipalities, office, retail, and universities. Come meet us and you be the judge. You can drive anything from a John Deere to a Bugatti and treat them all like they are one of a kind treasure! Whether it's automatic or manual, you are comfortable driving anything. This position provides excellent customer service for our clients daily and during special events by greeting guests when they arrive, parking guest vehicles in the designated area, then retrieving the vehicles upon guest departure in a safe manner. This position also keeps track of valet tickets and oversees the parking lot.
Requirements
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Thrive in faced paced environments and situations
- Legible handwriting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Valid driver license
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests to the establishment and offer professional valet services.
- Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items.
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot.
- Answer guests' questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities and other available services.
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws.
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibility.
