About The Position

Parking Concepts, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Temp-to-hire Valet Attendant position in Mid Wilshire, Los Angeles, CA. Parking Concepts, Inc. has a proud history spanning over 50 years of providing high quality, progressive and innovative parking management services at hotels, hospitals, retail centers, commercial buildings, and special events. This is a temp-to-hire position, initially hired on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • All Valet drivers must be at least 21 years of age to meet the requirements of our insurance company.
  • Valid and current California drivers license.
  • Good driving record and pass a background check.
  • Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
  • Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends).

Responsibilities

  • Provide valet service by safely driving, parking, retrieving, and ensuring vehicle safety at all times for customers and guests.
  • Communicate in a polite, upbeat, and friendly manner with customers and guests at all times.
  • Assist guests and customers willingly and in a friendly manner with their bags, luggage, or other items as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work environment for guests and customers at all times.
  • Some light housekeeping duties are required.
  • Maintain PCI's uniformed high standards of appearance and grooming, at all times.
  • Learn and comply with all safety and operating standards of vehicle and passenger safety.
  • Report all incidents and accidents and unsafe situations to the manager or supervisor immediately.
  • Drive customer’s/guest’s vehicle at a posted or safe speed.
  • Never misuse, change or take any items from the customer’s/guest’s vehicle, except to adjust driver’s seat to operate vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
  • Read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
