About The Position

Greeting and receiving customers with the highest quality customer service. Responsibilities include parking guest cars and assisting with luggage and belongings. After parking the vehicle, the valet attendant will run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR)
  • Able to drive all types of vehicles.
  • Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads.
  • Experience driving vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable, closed toe, non-skid shoes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous valet, and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directs traffic of vehicles at hotel or restaurant entrance.
  • Secures taxis/transportation for guests/visitors.
  • Assists guests with luggage.
  • Parks guest vehicles and secures vehicle.
  • Safely and securely parks the customer car, and provides the fastest possible return time.
  • Responsible for recording the guest’s information on the valet ticket and the location/parking spot the car was parked.
  • Must use the correct color of ticket and properly advise the guest of any associated charge.
  • Returns rental vehicles for guests.
  • Completes errands/deliveries for guests.
  • Answers questions about the hotel or restaurant and surrounding areas.
  • Transports guests to various areas in the Company vehicle within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.
  • Provides gracious and professional service in an efficient manner.
  • Perform all job duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards.
  • Responds graciously to guest service issues and reports the situation to management.
  • Remembers that safety is always first. Runs fast but drives slow.
  • Must pass annual MVR screen.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.
