Valet Attendant - The Elser
About The Position
Metropolis is an artificial intelligence company using computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. It operates a large parking network across North America and Europe and is working to extend checkout-free experiences to other everyday settings. The Valet Attendant role is based at The Elser in Miami, Florida. The position offers a flexible shift schedule, with a strong preference for candidates available from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including weekends, and pays $16.00 per hour. The role involves assisting guests, safely parking and handling vehicles, and supporting smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is required.
- A valid state driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
- Ability to provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
- Ability to follow instructions and remain calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for extended periods; occasionally sit, climb, or balance; and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Remain alert and professional while working in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Flexible availability for special shifts as needed, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, using creative solutions when problems arise.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide directions to guests.
- Explain valet rates and procedures clearly to customers.
- Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note and report any findings.
- Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Immediately report accidents, safety hazards, and policy violations to management.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and ready to work.
- Maintain a clean, complete uniform throughout the shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned to support smooth operations.
