About The Position
The Vaccinator pulls blood samples and administers vaccinations to hens and roosters on a weekly schedule. The role also weighs hens, roosters, and pullets weekly, maintains accurate records, and completes and retains the associated paperwork.
Requirements
- Able to lift 30 pounds during the weighing procedure.
- Knowledge of and ability to use a portable electronic scale for weighing.
- Must have a clean MVR and clean driving record.
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
Responsibilities
- Pull blood samples from hens and roosters on a scheduled weekly basis.
- Administer vaccinations to hens and roosters on a scheduled weekly basis.
- Complete the corresponding paperwork and maintain copies.
- Weigh hens, roosters, and pullets on a scheduled weekly basis.
- Maintain proper weighing records.
