About The Position

The Greeter works as a brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading vacation ownership and travel membership company. This sales-based role involves connecting with the public at popular local ports and attending events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences. The Greeter engages in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers, shares information about the vacation club experience, and invites and incentivizes guests to attend award-winning vacation ownership presentations. The company's mission is to put the world on vacation, offering a dynamic and growing portfolio of resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
Sales-minded professionalism
Hospitality, sales, or marketing experience
Ability to overcome challenges and objections

Responsibilities

Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
Assist in promoting and selling vacation packages in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals
Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings
Keep current on marketing information and materials
Keep current on industry trends
Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually
