About The Position

The V&V Engineer will be responsible for designing concepts, detailed designs, and drawings. This role involves prototype assembly, verification, and testing. The engineer will conduct design reviews with the core team, manage documentation, and participate in DFM, DFA, and DFMEA/PFMEA reviews. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the Moldflow analysis and FEA teams, the Hardware team, and tooling vendors for quotes, prototype development, and production parts. The role also requires designing support tooling, procuring samples for verification testing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams (marketing, manufacturing, testing, Development, Quality, Risk Management, Regulatory, and service) for change implementation. Additionally, the V&V Engineer will support molding validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) review and finalization, conduct design verification, testing, and validation of products against design requirements, manage documentation for change release, and handle project management. Regular discussions with the customer regarding project progress, risks, and updates are expected. The role also includes providing Mentor Graphics Schematic and PCB Layout tool support and verifying PCB layouts against industry standard rules.
