About The Position

USA Environmental is seeking a UXO Technician II for a short-term construction support project at MCB Quantico in Virginia. The mobilization period is November 15, 2026 through November 21, 2026.

The position requires meeting or exceeding the stated minimum qualifications, training, and experience requirements. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen unless an exception is approved by the U.S. Government, hold a valid state driver’s license, and be able to safely operate the assigned vehicle on and near the site. Candidates must have completed qualifying military EOD, UXO-TI, or EOD assistant training, and have relevant on-the-job training and experience with MEC-related activities and equipment.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, unless an exception is approved by the U.S. Government.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to safely handle and operate the assigned vehicle within and in the vicinity of the site.
• Graduate of a military EOD school in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia; or graduate of a UXO-TI course or the EOD assistant’s course.
• On-the-job training that includes familiarity with processes, procedures, and equipment used for MEC-related activities, including geophysical equipment.
• Must not have been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties, as substantiated by official documentation.
• At least 1.5 years of EOD/MEC experience if an EOD school graduate.
• At least 3 years of MEC-related experience if a UXO-TI school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MEC-related activities using applicable processes, procedures, and equipment, including geophysical equipment.
