Requirements

Current Graduate-level students (Master's or PhD) that are pursuing an advanced degree in User Experience Research, Human Factors, HCI (Human Computer Interactions), Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
Candidates should understand experimental design and have a basic understanding of the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data sets.
Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (such as an H-1B visa) for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

Work alongside current UX Research professionals to design and conduct user research for a wide range of software and non-software products.
Conduct research in partnership with developers and designers.
Research areas including customer digital experiences on Statefarm.com®, mobile apps, as well as business tools that are used by our sales force and employees.
Work in a team environment to conduct user-centered research (e.g., ethnography, concept testing, task analysis, conceptual design, iterative usability testing, and assessment usability testing) to guide the design, selection, and refinement of products and processes throughout the product development lifecycle.
