About The Position

Citi, a leading global bank with a vast client base and international presence, is undertaking a significant digital transformation. The Design & User Experience organization is seeking a UX Quantitative Researcher to play a critical role in enhancing clients' digital experiences. This role is focused on leveraging data and insights to prioritize product development and maintain a continuous feedback loop for improvement. The UX Quantitative Researcher will collaborate with UX, product management, and technology partners to understand user needs and behaviors, generating essential inputs for creating user-centric products. The position involves working with stakeholders across various functions and levels, influencing all stages of product development. The role utilizes methods such as survey research, in-product intercepts, behavioral analytics, regression analysis, and logs analysis. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of UX data analysis, can independently design and execute quantitative research studies, has led influential UX research initiatives, and can integrate self-reported and behavioral data for driver analyses and longitudinal impact studies. A passion for translating research insights into actionable recommendations and prioritizing research investments for maximum impact is essential. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in an applied research setting or similar.
  • 3+ years of product research experience in an applied setting.
  • Expertise in survey design and analysis.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and concrete recommendations for improving the user experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience designing, collecting and analyzing data from site intercepts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics (e.g., t-test, correlations, regression analysis), and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, Qualtrics) and data visualization tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • Experience building data dashboards.
