About The Position

The UX Design Manager leads a UX design team delivering high-quality, user-centered digital experiences across products and platforms. The role sets strategic direction for user experience initiatives, oversees design execution, and partners with product and engineering leaders to deliver cohesive, intuitive, and accessible solutions. It combines hands-on design work with responsibility for team development, design standards, and user research practices. The manager guides UX strategy and design direction in alignment with user needs and organizational goals; oversees design deliverables and research; maintains design systems; and collaborates with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to shape requirements, prioritize work, and guide implementation. The role also advocates for UX in planning and leadership forums, improves design processes and tools, monitors user feedback and performance data, and fosters innovation, experimentation, and inclusive design. RSM describes its benefits and compensation package as competitive. Most roles follow a hybrid workstyle, with employees aligned to an RSM office and meeting in person when it supports clients, teams, development, or relationship-building. Some roles may be virtual or primarily on-site based on role requirements, team priorities, and client needs. The compensation range is $126,500–$223,900, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
