About the position
Simpplr is seeking a UX Design leader to lead a team of product designers and user researchers in designing the future of work. The ideal candidate will have expertise in user research and interaction design, and will work closely with product managers and engineers to develop market-leading products. Responsibilities include providing leadership and mentorship to the team, developing a comprehensive UX strategy, applying design thinking to create user-centered solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously improving the design process. The candidate should have a strong background in design, usability, and research best practices, as well as experience managing teams and incorporating accessibility requirements into designs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience in UX/UI Design, Digital Media Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or other design fields
- 15+ years of overall design experience, with 8+ years directly managing a team of designers and user researchers. Prior UI engineering experience and hands-on coding experience will be a plus.
- Experience building and managing teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining high-performers
- Experience articulating and incorporating accessibility requirements into user experience and interaction designs and specifications
- Ability to lead through rapidly evolving, complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal teams
- A deep understanding of design, usability, and research best practices; You have mastery of driving a user-centered product design process and creating a design-led culture at a global scale
