About The Position

Tyrula is seeking a versatile User Experience Professional who combines expertise in user research, UX/UI design, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and the thoughtful application of AI-enabled tools to help shape digital products that improve the user experience of complex government and commercial systems. This role is ideal for someone who can move seamlessly between discovery research, requirements analysis, workflow modeling, prototyping, usability testing, and collaboration with both business and technical teams. The successful candidate will help translate user needs and business objectives into actionable recommendations, intuitive experiences, and implementable solutions. The ability to understand technical architecture, system constraints, integrations, and software development processes is a significant advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an Associate Degree with Two Years of Experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX research, UX/UI design, business analysis, product design, or related disciplines.
  • Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and design artifacts.
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal, healthcare, or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience with Figma, modern prototyping tools, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, Section 508, and WCAG.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design, development, and product delivery approaches.
  • Familiarity supporting proposal, capture, or business-development activities.
  • Front-end development experience or familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with APIs, system integrations, technical workflow analysis, engineering teams, or solution architects.
  • Ability to understand technical architecture and translate technical constraints into effective UX solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research activities; synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Create user journeys, service blueprints, workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Develop user-centered design solutions that balance user needs, business goals, accessibility requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to align designs with implementation realities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, design reviews, and collaborative working sessions to understand business objectives and operational needs.
  • Analyze workflows, processes, and technical constraints to identify improvement opportunities and inform effective UX solutions.
  • Contribute to AI-assisted design, development, and product delivery approaches where appropriate.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and business insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
