About The Position

UVM is seeking motivated and enthusiastic high school juniors and seniors to serve as Pre-College Ambassadors. In this role, you will be the local representative of UVM Pre-College programs at your high school. Your primary responsibility will be to share the benefits of UVM's Pre-College programs with your peers, highlighting how these programs simplify the transition to college, save time and money by earning college credits, help students get ahead in their studies, and prepare them for their future academic endeavors.

This is a three-month program, running from February to April. As an ambassador, you will be expected to be organized, meet deadlines, and create engaging content for social media. You will help UVM spread awareness through various in-school and online activities and report on your progress. The role requires approximately 2-4 hours per week, with slight fluctuations depending on the week and specific activities.

Requirements

• Currently a Vermont high school junior or senior.
• Knowledge and love for UVM.
• Willingness to share the value of UVM Pre-College with social media networks (3 total social posts).
• Willingness and ability to attend and manage in-person events for Pre-College (2 total events).
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes and challenges.
• Creative and fun personality.
• Not shy about sharing ideas.
• Hardworking, reliable, and organized.
• Ability to communicate and get the job done in a professional and timely manner.
• Motivated to go above and beyond.
• Enjoy planning activities.
