About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards within the facility. The Utility associate will perform janitorial duties in common spaces, offices, restrooms, and breakrooms, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies. The position also involves informing supervisors of any food safety issues and conducting preventative maintenance on breakroom equipment. Adherence to all safety rules is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and food safety requirements are in compliance.
- Effectively work with other associates in the department.
- Performs janitorial duties of common spaces and office areas.
- Sweep, vacuum and mops common spaces and office area floors.
- Empty trash cans, clean mirror and glass on doors.
- Clean and sanitize table tops.
- Load paper towels, toilet paper and hand soap in dispensers.
- Refill coffee beans and clean coffee waste bin.
- Ensures interior windows of the building are kept clean.
- Maintains cleanliness of all offices, restrooms and breakrooms.
- Dust furniture, baseboards and moldings at floor.
- Informs supervisor of any food safety issues.
- Conducts PM’s on breakroom refrigerator and ice maker for any mold or built up debris.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
