About The Position
The Utility Yard Driver is responsible for moving trailers in and out of the dock and live hang areas. This role ensures trailers are available for packaging, new room operations, and the loading dock. Additionally, the driver is responsible for ensuring trailers are washed, fueled, chalked, and inventoried.
Requirements
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to operate a yardgoat tractor in a safe manner.
- Able to read.
- Able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Able to communicate with management.
- Able to work in both hot/dry, and cold/wet conditions (cold down to 30 degrees, hot up to 120 degrees).
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete/metal grate floors.
Responsibilities
- Move trailers in and out of the dock and live hang areas.
- Provide trailers to the dock for packaging, New Room, and the loading dock.
- Ensure trailers are washed and fueled.
- Ensure trailers are chalked and inventoried.
