About The Position

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Utility Worker to support the Stewarding team and maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness across Food & Beverage and Culinary operations. Reporting to the Stewarding Supervisor and Executive Steward, this role cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, dishware, cookware, banquet equipment, and work areas. The Utility Worker supports daily dining operations and special events while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality working environment. The position is based in a professional kitchen environment and requires availability for a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays. Previous stewarding, dishwashing, culinary, or hospitality experience is preferred, but training is provided for qualified candidates. The posting offers a $500 sign-on bonus, paid as $250 on the first paycheck and $250 after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain the dishwashing station for safe and efficient operation, and report equipment concerns to leadership.
Clean and sanitize kitchen dishware, cookware, utensils, and service equipment.
Clean and sanitize Food & Beverage and kitchen equipment according to established standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and stewarding areas.
Assist with banquet and event setup, including tables, chairs, and event equipment.
Participate in event breakdown and post-event cleanup.
Complete assigned stewarding duties to support culinary and Food & Beverage operations.
Assist with additional operational tasks as directed by stewarding and culinary leadership.
Contribute to an efficient, safe, and high-quality kitchen environment.
