About The Position

Work with the team in production (excluding use of knives and saws) Able to use short-bladed knife for opening packaging Using packing equipment with the team and understanding how to use correctly Filling orders, boxing, bagging and running of packaging machines Weighing and labeling product/boxes on scales Could include grinding and running of cubing machines All around general duties with the team Any other tasks assigned per management

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work safely and follow all GMP, SSOP and safety procedures
Must have a great attention to detail, be able to read and comprehend instructions on orders
Punctual, dependable, and reliable
Computer knowledge
Flexible schedule
Must be able to work well with others
Stand for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and crouch
Heavy lifting up to 80lbs
Able to work in a temperature controlled environment which can range from 0 to 35 degrees

Responsibilities

Inspection and packaging of portion cut steaks
Checking for good seals and no foreign materials in packaging
Counting and packing of vacuum sealed packages into boxes, then labeling them appropriately
Stacking boxes on pallets
Running portion cut boneless pork and beef through a cubing machine
Assist in the grind operation with packing, labeling and stacking boxes
General clean up of the work areas, including sweeping and picking up trash
