About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning vehicle interiors and facility areas according to contract standards. The role involves daily cleaning, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining facility cleanliness including restrooms and windows. Additionally, the Utility Worker must document and communicate any fleet damage to the manager and ensure work areas comply with OSHA and EPA regulations. Assistance to maintenance staff and management is also required to support daily operations. Please note that job duties or specific job titles may vary, and if covered by a collective bargaining agreement, its provisions may prevail.

Requirements

  • Must be over 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  • Able to work without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to work in and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic decision-making skills to identify and report fleet damage or safety concerns.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and strength for repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
  • Safety awareness and compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
  • Reliability and punctuality to support daily fleet readiness.
  • Time management skills to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
