About The Position

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings and equipment and other related work as required. Performs duties necessary to maintain the physical structure in good cosmetic appearance, interior and exterior Hospital. Performs of different tasks which include general minor maintenance, running errands, and providing assistance as required by journeyman engineers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work well with others.
Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to organize/prioritize work.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and decimals.
Ability to speak, write, and read effectively to understand work orders, safety notices, and other written communication.
Ability to print legibly and fill out forms.
Ability to retain machine locations, equipment rooms, and safety equipment.
Logical reasoning with the ability to respond to instructions and follow through.
Ability to notify Supervisor when instructions or requirements are not clearly understood.
Ability to plan a basic day based on a list of objectives from daily worklists.

Responsibilities
