About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Utility Worker to play a vital role in our production and warehouse operations. This is a physically demanding position that involves continuous manual labor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidates are comfortable performing strenuous work throughout their shift, lifting and moving materials, standing for extended periods, and working in hot production areas where temperatures can become elevated, especially during warmer months. Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate workplace procedures.
- Proven capability to meet safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently with proficiency in English, ensuring effective training and communication; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manually load, pack, sort, and transport materials and products.
- Hand-stack finished goods and organize boxes into patterns.
- Set up and change film rolls on automated packaging machinery.
- Palletize product cartons for disposal and staging.
- Clean production equipment, work areas, and trenches.
- Collect and dispose of scrap, dust, and debris; perform general cleaning and recycling tasks.
