About The Position

This position involves working with co-workers as a team on installing and repairing water lines, fire hydrants, and valves. Responsibilities include installing new meters and taps. The employee must maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements without interruption. The role requires adherence to the assigned schedule and compliance with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements
  • Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy

  • Installing water lines
  • Repairing water lines
  • Repairing fire hydrants
  • Repairing valves
  • Installing new meters
  • Installing new taps
