About The Position

Performs a high level of manual tasks involved in the maintenance and construction of sanitary sewer lines and sewage plants. This role requires excavating soil, making sanitary sewer repairs and connections with various hand tools, and repairing, cleaning, and performing maintenance work on sanitary sewer lines. The position also involves assembling and disassembling barricades and shoring equipment. Teamwork and adherence to assigned schedules and policies are essential. The role may require after-hours call-outs and shift work. Employees must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and job requirements without interruption.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work with co-workers as a team as instructed.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements.
  • Work the assigned schedule and comply with City timekeeping and attendance policy.

Responsibilities
