About The Position

This position provides a structured learning and development opportunity to prepare individuals for successful integration into a specific role within the plant operation. This role will provide hands-on training to gain knowledge and skills for a future role. This will include training in truck receiving - bulk materials, quality, and vessel loading.

Requirements

• Ability to work multiple shift schedules and rotating shifts as required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to independently manage priorities and schedule to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work different shifts as needed with proper notification

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous work experience in a manual position
• Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Follow all workplace and job safety procedures
• Receive bulk materials - pellets and record data, operator shuttle wagon and keep area ramps clean and free of debris.
• Collect and test finished goods delivered by truck and or rail, maintain records.
• Ensure docking, undocking and mooring process is completed safely, ensure vessel is loading correctly using heavy equipment on vessel.
• Properly complete paperwork
• Operate mobile equipment (forklift, Bobcat) to assist where needed
• Communicate with Operations team escalating issues as necessary
• Keep area clean of accumulated dust and keep areas generally neat an orderly to meet housekeeping standards
• Other related duties as assigned and serve as back up resources as needed which includes filling in for associates on PTO or leave
