Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints, tool lists, and set-up drawings
- Knowledgeable in the use of hand tools and power equipment, precision measuring devices and simple cutting tools
- Understand basic machining processes
- Good communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to actively participate and work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Well-organized
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Baan or other ERP system for data entry
- Computer skills
Responsibilities
- Preset tooling and fixturing per blueprints and process plans.
- Handles breakdown, storage and proper care of tooling and fixturing.
- Provide Tool Crib Attendant assistance and/or backup.
- Be proactive in reviewing upcoming schedules, have knowledge of urgent operations and the tooling and fixturing associated with each.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
