About The Position

The Utility Technician is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite. This role involves repairs and maintenance of water, wastewater, and drainage facilities, performing lawn and gardening maintenance, shoveling dirt and gravel, and maintaining inventory of parts and maintenance supplies. The position also includes cleaning office spaces and requires a willingness to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and be on 24-hour emergency call.

Requirements

• High school diploma or ged.
• Valid Driver’s License and maintains insurable driving record.
• Ability to follow manual & operating instructions.
• Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs.
• Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.).
• Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.
• Communicates clearly & professionally.
• Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience.
• Willing to help others.
