About The Position

Certus Home Services is hiring Utility Technicians for full-time, year-round work. The role is a direct first step toward becoming a licensed Pest Control Technician, with paid training and support for required pest control licensing. No pest control background is required. Technicians receive a take-home company vehicle and provided equipment and are trusted to run assigned routes and represent the company to customers. The position may also lead to opportunities in sales or branch leadership.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
At least 5 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong work ethic and comfort working independently outdoors in varying conditions.

Nice To Haves

Prior pest control or related field or route-based experience.
An active pest control license or certification.

Responsibilities

Run an assigned daily service route, inspect properties, and apply treatments safely and correctly.
Communicate with customers about findings and work performed.
Follow personal protective equipment (PPE), safety, and compliance standards during every application.
Track treatment results and follow up when needed.
Maintain accurate service records and keep the vehicle and equipment ready for use.
Meet route and service performance targets, including completing scheduled stops, documenting work, generating qualified leads, resolving service issues, and driving safely.
