About The Position

Aggreko is hiring a Utility Technician based at its Jacksonville, Florida service center. The role supports rental equipment operations by handling, preparing, cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and materials while keeping the service center, yard, warehouse, and jobsites clean and safe. The technician works in a fast-paced environment, provides consistent quality and customer service, and may work overtime or weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
0–3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
Excellent customer service skills.

Reliable and committed to quality performance.
Able to work overtime.
Able to move or lift objects, typically weighing less than 75 pounds.
Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, or sitting; walking over uneven terrain; reaching through a functional range of motion; and safely lifting 60 pounds, pushing or pulling 80 pounds, carrying 60 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, climbing while carrying 15-pound objects, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
Must pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload equipment and materials using large and small forklifts.
Prepare rental equipment for delivery and verify the quality and accuracy of equipment counts before delivery and upon arrival.
Clean and put away rental equipment when it returns to the service center.
Keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse clean and compliant with safety standards.
Maintain rental equipment and accessory inventory accuracy.
Perform inventory cycle counts.
Wash rental equipment.
Inspect and repair cable.
Travel to work locations when needed and be available for standby work outside regularly scheduled shifts.
