About The Position

Aggreko is hiring a Utility Technician based at its Jacksonville, Florida service center. The role supports rental-equipment operations by handling, preparing, cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and materials. The technician helps keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse clean and safe, maintains inventory accuracy, and may work overtime or weekends. The position is full-time and offers a pay range of $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, with potential overtime and an annual bonus program.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
0–3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
Excellent customer service skills.

Able to work overtime.
Able to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 pounds.
Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, and sitting; walking on uneven terrain; functional range of motion; finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and grip strength; and lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
Must pass a post-offer physical abilities assessment, including the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload equipment and materials using large and small forklifts.
Prepare and verify the quality and accuracy of rental-equipment counts before delivery and upon arrival.
Clean and put away rental equipment when it returns to the service center.
Keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse clean and up to safety standards.
Maintain accurate inventory of rental equipment and accessories.
Perform inventory cycle counts.
Wash rental equipment.
Inspect and repair cable.
Work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations if needed, and be available for standby work outside regularly scheduled shifts.
