About The Position

Paramount Events is seeking a dependable and hardworking Utility Team Member to support daily operations at a corporate dining account. The role maintains clean and organized kitchen and dining areas, washes cookware and dinnerware, removes waste, and supports sanitation and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well with a team, and is comfortable in a fast-paced setting. Available schedules are 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–12:30 AM, five days a week.

Requirements

Food Handler's certification.
Basic ware-washing knowledge and ability to wash pots, pans, and dinnerware.
Basic cleaning knowledge, including the ability to sweep, mop, and deep-clean equipment.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and demonstrate good time management.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain a consistent work pace and use time effectively.
Wash cookware and dinnerware in appropriate areas.
Sweep and mop floors as needed.
Take garbage, recycling, and compost to appropriate disposal areas as needed.
Note when cleaning products are needed and share this information with Culinary Management.
Follow the schedule and alert a supervisor when there is a conflict.
Uphold sanitation and food safety standards and maintain clean, tidy work areas.
Ensure opening and closing duties are completed correctly and consistently.
Handle kitchen equipment properly while in use and store it properly when not in use; report equipment or items that are not functioning.
