Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing industrial utility systems (e.g., HVAC, PCW, DI water, compressed air) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of plant utilities, including chilled/purified water, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generation, compressed air, and heating systems.
  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment issues.
  • Support capital improvement projects, system upgrades, and energy conservation initiatives from planning through commissioning.
  • Ensure all systems comply with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations.
  • Champion workplace safety and ensure strict adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols.
