About The Position

The Utility Support role is responsible for the overall production of the machine and the quality of the work produced. The position involves supporting the Asitrade Tech Level I function, including checking adhesion and registration, assisting operators, and completing stacker-section preventive maintenance. The employee must work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures and be available for second shift. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work second shift.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; routine report and correspondence writing and effective speaking may also be required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to follow detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Prior die-cut experience.
• Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top-quality products.
• Normal vision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor starch adhesion on the SF side using the X test quality check.
• Monitor glue adhesion on the DF side using edge-pull quality checks.
• Monitor front-to-back and side-to-side registration and communicate adjustment needs to operators.
• Understand line clearance, next-order setup, and controls on the stacker sections.
• Perform monthly preventive-maintenance tasks on the stacker section of the machine.
• Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist operators as required.
• Work overtime as required.
