Utility Support 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Utility Support position supports manufacturing and converting operations by locating stock for manufacturing machines and moving it to and from machines on automated stock carts while maintaining count and location accuracy. The role requires navigating the KIWI system to load and unload work in process (WIP), assisting forklift drivers with locating and directing KIWI WIP activity, manually pushing stock, and offloading corrugated material from machines. The employee also assists operators and apprentices as needed and is responsible for the safety and cleanliness of equipment and the work area. Work must be performed safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures. Overtime is required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Candidates must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional offer and before starting employment.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate the KIWI system and locate stock for manufacturing machines.
- Ability to maintain count and location accuracy while moving stock to and from machines on automated stock carts.
Responsibilities
- Operate automated T cars.
