About The Position

Meriwether Godsey is seeking a Utility Steward/Receiver at an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school located in Potomac, MD. This is a full-time position with a shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and availability for special events as needed. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Ability to measure products and convert units of measure

May be required to work in excessive heat and cold areas within the kitchen environment
Possible exposure to fumes and mildly abrasive chemicals
Must be able to pass an FBI background check

Responsibilities

Receive deliveries, assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies of stock.
Store all incoming stock items in assigned locations, ensuring proper storage of perishables and rotation of stock.
Clean and organize all BOH and FOH storage areas.
Break down boxes and remove them from the kitchen/dining room area.
Assist with dishwashing duties, including using, cleaning, setting up, and breaking down the dishwashing machine, washing and stocking dishes, trash removal, floor cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
