About The Position

NV5 is seeking a full-time Utility Services Technician II for our Alpharetta, GA office. NV5 is a provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients, delivering solutions through six business verticals: Testing, Inspection & Consulting; Infrastructure; Utility Services; Environmental Health Sciences; Buildings & Program Management; and Geospatial Technology. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of utility designation experience
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment
Ability to travel (up to 60% of the time)
Microsoft Excel experience – can learn and understand new software

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with iPad or tablet, a plus

Responsibilities

Being able to pair count and positively identify utility owners and cable sizes.
Assist with operation and maintenance of vacuum excavation truck.
Be knowledgeable of the quality levels of SUE and how to differentiate between each one.
Provide support for utility services/survey staff as needed.
