This entry-level Utility Rate Analyst position involves researching, analyzing, and defining utility rates for rate sheet projects across a nationwide client portfolio. The role also supports budget forecast and rate audit projects within the department. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and based in the office in San Diego, California, or Logan, Utah. Starting pay is $45,000–$50,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Google products, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and define utility rates for rate sheet projects.
• Monitor and update rate sheet projects on a scheduled basis, such as monthly, bi-monthly, or annually.
• Support budget forecast projects.
• Support rate audit projects.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, clients, and utility providers.
